About the Opportunity:
The SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER – DATA FOCUSED is responsible for developing and delivering robust software solutions that support the replacement of legacy platforms.
The role involves building features, integrating systems, and managing complex data migration projects to ensure reliable software delivery.
This position contributes directly to the program's mission by enabling better data management and system functionality critical to environmental operations.
Responsibilities:
Deliver functional software from concept through testing and release.Develop services, APIs, integrations, and application features collaboratively.Investigate legacy databases and create or improve data migration and validation processes.Engage with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and success criteria.Enhance system reliability through troubleshooting, testing, and documentation.Participate in collaborative programming practices, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
Proven experience in building and maintaining production software with end-to-end delivery.Strong programming, debugging, API development, database, and automated testing skills.Proficient in SQL and data flow analysis within applications.Capable of learning new codebases and tools, managing ambiguity, and making informed implementation decisions.Effective communication skills with technical and non-technical team members.Ability to take ownership and contribute broadly within a team environment.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
Salary Range is $130,000—$140,000 USD.
