Development Lead - AWS / Angular / Full-Stack

We are currently seeking a Development Lead to join our dynamic team and work with one of our client, a leading bank in Canada Contract duration: 6 months with strong possibility of extension Role type: Hybrid (2 days /week in office required) This role will be responsible for guiding the development team, collaborating closely with business and technical stakeholders, and ensuring the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-quality applications. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing technical direction and guidance.Design and develop scalable, high-performance applications using Angular and AWS.Lead the development and enhancement of digital wallet applications and UI experiences.Work extensively with Angular-based wallet applications, ensuring responsive, intuitive, and secure user interfaces.Contribute to both front-end and back-end development as a hands-on Full Stack technical lead.Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, architects, QA teams, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.Participate in architecture and technical design discussions and help establish development standards and best practices.Review code, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and ensure adherence to quality and security standards.Support application integration with backend services, APIs, cloud services, and mobile platforms.Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and aligned with business requirements.Communicate project status, technical risks, dependencies, and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Required Skills & Experience Proven experience as a Development Lead, Technical Lead, or Senior Full Stack Developer.Strong hands-on experience with Angular and modern front-end development.Strong experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-based application development.Experience developing digital wallet applications or wallet-related UI solutions is highly desirable.Experience working with Angular for wallet applications and related financial or transaction-based user interfaces.Strong Full Stack development experience, including front-end, backend services, APIs, and database integration.Experience working with mobile applications or mobile-focused solutions is an advantage.Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, APIs, security, and application integration.Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work effectively with developers, architects, product teams, business stakeholders, and senior management. Preferred Qualifications Experience in digital payments, financial services, banking, or fintech.Experience with payment/wallet technologies and transaction processing.Experience designing secure applications involving sensitive financial or customer data.AWS certifications or relevant cloud certifications are an asset.Experience leading distributed or cross-functional development teams.
