Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for an Infrastructure Analyst IV with our large power and utilities client in Charlotte, NC.
This is a 12-month contract with a potential for extension.
Pay: $54.00 - $64.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits.
ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.
Description:Provide enterprise level support of technologies needed for infrastructure and business applications.These technologies include, but are not limited to servers, storage and a variety of infrastructure -related software.Integrate software to enable usage, support, and monitoring of various hardware technologies.Develop and maintain routine work procedures and define standard installation and upgrade methodologies.Responsibilities may include evaluation, acquisition, installation, integration testing, upgrading components and performance monitoring.Plans, designs, installs and/or supports computer systems.Facilitates technical and business planning for upgrades.Provides technical guidance related to software and hardware to members of the IT staff.Develops (or assists in developing) standards for IT software and hardware.Assists in the design and implementation of required systems.Integrates software and hardware configurations to maximize performance.Coordinates hardware and software upgrades with other areas of IT or other business units.Prepares activity and progress reports regarding individual and project activity.Keeps abreast of new hardware and software developments, evaluates alternative approaches, and recommends new software or upgrades which enhance operations.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or equivalent direct work related experience.
In lieu of a degree, 8 years related business experience.
Work experience in addition to a degree: 3-4 years.

Self-starter.Works independently with very little direct supervision or review.Recognizes appropriate times to raise issues and provide status updates.Demonstrates the ability to absorb change and continue with positive results.Displays maturity in approach and ability to effectively handle stress and frustration.Facilitate meetings and provide direction to others.Advanced experience designing and implementing infrastructure automation solutions using Python, PowerShell, Terraform, and Linux-based technologies.Strong background in coding for enterprise infrastructure platforms, developing API-based integrations, automating system provisioning and configuration, and supporting scalable, resilient, and secure IT operations through software-driven infrastructure practices.Experience working within cloud and/or on-premises environments, including hybrid cloud architectures leveraging AWS and Azure, is preferred.Demonstrated understanding of core infrastructure technologies, including servers, storage, networking, and platform services, with the ability to automate infrastructure deployment, management, and operational processes through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and scripting solutions.
