Description

The Role Engineering data doesn't organize itself. Behind every plant, platform and vessel sits a mountain of documents, tags and drawings that someone has to make sense of. That someone could be you. Our Information Management team implements Octave InConcert (formerly SDx) for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) companies and owner operators in asset-heavy industries: chemicals and petrochemicals, oil and gas, power, pharma and biotech, food and beverage, utilities and manufacturing. We help EPCs build a complete digital record of a facility as a project moves from design to handover. Then we help owner operators keep that record accurate for the decades the facility runs. That long operating life is where a digital twin really pays off. As an implementation consultant, you'll turn customer requirements into working solutions. You'll work with solution architects, technical leads, partners and product teams, and you'll spend real time with customers. It's complex work, and that's the appeal. You'll see how a facility's information fits together across its whole lifecycle, and you'll be the person who makes it usable. What You'll Do Configure, test and deliver Octave solutions that meet customer requirements on quality, time and budget.Shape the detailed solution design with your technical lead and write parts of the functional design specification.Support presales by explaining what an implementation involves and estimating the effort it takes.Coordinate day-to-day technical work across your project team, including partners and system integrators.Spot customer solutions that could work for everyone and bring them to our product owners.Keep up with every product release and pass on what you learn through coaching and knowledge transfer. Where AI fits in AI is changing how engineering information gets captured, classified and checked. We already use it every day to configure systems, prepare for customer workshops and deliver solutions more efficiently. InConcert comes with AI built in, so you'll put it to work for customers too. Next up, Octave is building an agentic platform to connect its full portfolio, and you'll be here as it takes shape. What AI doesn't change: projects succeed because of people. AI can help configure a system, but it can't tell you whether that's the system your customer actually needs. Someone still has to earn the customer's trust, ask the question nobody else thought of and help a team change the way it's worked for 20 years. That's the human part of this job, and it's the part we value most. You'll bring curiosity about new tools and the judgment to know when they help and when they don't. What You Bring 3+ years delivering enterprise software, engineering data or information management projectsHands-on experience configuring systems or mapping and migrating dataConfidence with customers, from workshops with engineers to status meetings with project managersA structured way of working that holds up when you're juggling several tasksFluent English, written and spokenWillingness to travel across Europe, with frequency depending on your project assignments Nice to have Experience with InConcert or its predecessor SDxKnowledge of EPC or operations and maintenance processes in asset-heavy industriesExperience integrating design tools with engineering information systemsFamiliarity with cloud environmentsAny other European languageA degree in engineering, computer science, information management or a related field Don't tick every box?
