Dexcode builds custom software, web and mobile applications, and practical AI integrations.
We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer who enjoys understanding a business problem, making thoughtful technical decisions and taking work through to production.
You’ll work directly with the founders across backend services, APIs, databases and React interfaces.
We care about the details: how software behaves when something goes wrong, how clearly the code communicates its purpose, and how easily someone can maintain it later.
What you’ll do
Build reliable Node.js services and accessible React interfaces using TypeScript.Design APIs, data models and queries with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.Connect business systems and external services, handling background jobs, retries and failures.Build AI integrations where they offer practical value, with evaluation, safeguards and human review where needed.Take ownership from requirements and architecture through testing, code review, deployment and troubleshooting.Explain technical decisions clearly and contribute to scope and delivery planning.
What we’re looking for
Experience building, shipping and maintaining production applications with TypeScript, Node.js and React.Strong backend, API and database fundamentals, with practical depth in PostgreSQL or MongoDB.Sound judgement around architecture, security, permissions, performance and testing.The ability to turn unclear requirements into manageable work and explain the trade-offs.Care for code quality, documentation and the people who will use and maintain your work.
Useful additional experience
LangGraph, LiteLLM, retrieval workflows, LLM evaluation, Next.js, NestJS, cloud infrastructure or CI/CD.
You don’t need experience with every tool in our stack.
