Position: Java / Spring Boot Developer – Upgrade & Modernization
Location: Remote
Duration: 3+ Months Contract
Openings: 2
Max Rate: CAD 50/hr + HST – Incorporated
Key Requirements:
Strong Core Java and Spring Boot fundamentalsHands-on experience with Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIsExperience upgrading Java 11/17 to Java 21Experience upgrading Spring Boot 2.7 to 3.x/3.5Strong Maven and dependency management experienceHands-on experience with MongoDB and KafkaStrong debugging and troubleshooting skillsJUnit/Mockito experienceApplication modernization/migration experience
Preferred: Python, Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD, and AWS/Azure/OCI experience.
