Are you a pragmatic SaaS engineer who thrives on building data pipelines that turn raw data into insights that prevent real-world infrastructure failures? As our new Senior Product Development Engineer, you will be designing and developing cloud-based analytics framework components that process diverse data sources into actionable insights — from data import and cleansing through calculation pipelines to dashboards that predict critical events such as sewage overflows in pump and pipe systems. What You Will Be Doing As a key part of the Analytics Platform Engineering team, you'll create impact by building the intelligent analytics framework that empowers utilities worldwide to prevent infrastructure failures before they happen, protecting communities and the environment. Your main responsibilities include: Architect and develop framework components and calculation pipelines for our cloud-based analytics product (MAP platform)Implement data import, cleansing, and processing workflows that transform third-party and internal data into meaningful insightsResolve production bugs and work through the engineering backlog to improve platform reliability and performanceBuild and maintain predictive analytics features such as overflow alerts for sewage pumps and pipesContribute architectural decisions that ensure the platform scales reliably in a real cloud environment What Makes You a Great Fit Above all, you are a hands-on, pragmatic cloud software engineer with real-world experience shipping and maintaining production systems — someone who has been through release cycles, handled upgrades, responded to customer feedback, and knows what it takes to get the job done. You have experience building, enhancing, and supporting applications in a .NET environment. We would also imagine that you have: 7+ years of experience in software product development with cloud-based systems (design, build, deploy, and maintain)Strong skills in building data processing pipelines — including data import, transformation, cleansing, and calculation workflowsDemonstrated experience with architectural design of scalable framework components in a production environmentProven ability to work autonomously in small agile/scrum teams and deliver iterative releases It is a plus if you also have Experience with analytics or IoT platforms, particularly in utilities, water management, or industrial domainsFamiliarity with dashboard development and alert/notification systemsBackground working with third-party data integrations and building extensible framework products Why you will love working here We care!
