Freelance Medior AWS / Platform Engineer For one of our clients, we are looking for a freelance Medior AWS / Platform Engineer to strengthen their Data & AI Platform team. You will work on the cloud platform and tooling used by engineering teams to develop, deploy and operate data and AI solutions. The role combines AWS cloud engineering, software development, Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD. Responsibilities: Build, maintain and improve solutions within AWSDevelop and automate cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as CodeBuild and improve deployment pipelines and internal platform toolingDevelop reusable platform components and automation for engineering teamsSupport, monitor and troubleshoot existing cloud environmentsImprove the reliability, scalability and developer experience of the platformWork closely with Platform Engineers, Data Engineers and AI Engineers Profile: Medior-level AWS / Platform / Cloud EngineerSeveral years of hands-on AWS experienceExperience with Terraform and/or AWS CDKExperience with PythonExperience with CI/CD, preferably GitHub ActionsExperience working in cloud-native / DevOps environmentsComfortable with Git and modern software development practicesAble to independently build and automate cloud solutionsExperience with TypeScript, Databricks or Data/AI platforms is a plusDutch or English speaking Additional information: Start: ASAPHours: 32–37 hours per weekHybrid: 1–2 days per week on-site in The HagueLanguage: Dutch or EnglishContract: Freelance / ZZP
