Ansible (AAP) Automation Engineer Start: asap End: 30-04-2026 Possible extension: YES Hours per week: 36 ZZP not possible DUTCH SPEAKING MANDATORY Job description We are looking for a proactive and experienced Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) Engineer to join the Ansible Automation squad within Foundation4Techs Infrastructure as Code area. You will help provide a secure, stable 24/7 automation service that enables application and platform teams across the bank to deliver efficiently and consistently. Your Impact By delivering reliable AAP services and developing effective automation, you will help technology teams across the bank work faster, more consistently and more securely. Your contribution will support operational stability, strengthen security and compliance, and advance Foundation4Techs ambition to automate and continuously improve the management of its global infrastructure landscape. Requirements What You Bring Required Skills and Experience At least five years of experience in a comparable large-scale and complex infrastructure environment, ideally within financial services.Extensive experience with Ansible Automation Platform (preferably version 2.6 or higher).A strong automation mindset and the drive to automate repetitive work wherever practical.A thorough understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems.Knowledge of security and compliance requirements for Linux or Windows platforms.Experience with security tooling, preferably CyberArk and Qualys.Knowledge of and experience with Scrum and Agile ways of working.Understanding of IT operations activities and familiarity with ITIL and incident, change and problem processes.Strong analytical skills, resourcefulness and flexibility, with the confidence to challenge when needed.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.High proficiency in speaking, reading and writing English.Customer focus, transparency, a results-oriented approach and strong teamwork.Experience with Azure Devops Git repositories and configuring CI/CD pipelines.Profound understanding of Infrastructure As Code concepts.Experience with managing containerized applications, preferably in an Openshift environment.Basic knowledge of Identity and Access management processes using Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Active Directory. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a regulated or financial services environment.Development and maintenance of complex Ansible playbooks, roles, and collectionsDesigning reusable automation frameworks and self-service automation solutions.Knowledge of Ansible best practices, testing, and governance.
