Your future role within QRT:
Collaborate with developers, researchers, traders, and platform teams to build and improve business-critical systemsBuild automation for operations, deployment, monitoring, and incident responseEvaluate and implement tools that balance performance, complexity, and maintainabilityOwn and evolve our observability stack: metrics, logs, tracing, and alertsParticipate in the team oncall rota, leading incident response and driving continuous improvement through postmortems and root cause analysis
Your Present Skillset:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a strongly related fieldStrong Python programming skillsStrong problem-solving skills and deep understanding of computer science fundamentalsCommitment to code clarity, documentation, and reducing technical debtHands-on experience with Linux/Unix systems in production environmentsProven track record designing and delivering scalable systems in production environmentsNice to have:
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible)Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana or similar)Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker, ECS)Knowledge of low-latency systems, trading environments, market data, or exchange protocols
