About The Role Work with a leading organisation as an experienced Senior Automation Engineer within a large-scale technology environment. This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping and delivering enterprise-wide automation solutions, combining hands-on engineering with technical direction across DevOps, CI/CD and AI-driven automation. You'll help identify opportunities to introduce AI agents and intelligent automation across the software development lifecycle and scale solutions across engineering teams. Senior Automation Engineer Position A senior, enterprise-level engineering role combining hands-on delivery with technical direction, focused on intelligent automation, AI agents, DevOps and the evolution of testing and release automation across the organisation. What are we looking for? 10+ years' experience across Automation Engineering, DevOps or Software Engineering, with proven experience providing technical direction across enterprise environmentsStrong background designing and evolving scalable automation solutions, CI/CD capabilities and technical standards across large technology environmentsExperience applying AI, Agentic AI and intelligent automation to testing, software development, deployment or release processesStrong understanding of CI/CD architecture, DevOps, pipeline automation, release orchestration and enterprise API integrationsStrong Python and/or TypeScript capabilities, with experience across automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium and/or CypressExperience across Azure, GCP and/or AWS, with exposure to ServiceNow Change Management and enterprise release toolingProven ability to improve existing automation solutions, identify opportunities to automate across the SDLC and drive adoption across multiple engineering teamsStrong technical leadership, solution design and mentoring experience, with the ability to influence senior engineering and technology stakeholders Automation Engineer Position: A hands-on engineering role focused on implementing and scaling intelligent automation, AI agents, CI/CD and release automation solutions directly within engineering squads. What are we looking for? 8+ years' hands-on experience across Automation Engineering, DevOps or Software EngineeringStrong CI/CD and DevOps experience, particularly with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Harness or similar toolsStrong Python skills, with TypeScript/JavaScript experience and the ability to build automation solutions, tooling and intelligent workflowsPractical experience applying AI, Agentic AI or AI agents to testing, software development, deployment or automationHands-on experience with API integrations, REST/GraphQL and automation frameworks, with exposure to Playwright, Selenium, Cypress and/or AppiumExperience with ServiceNow Change Management and integrating release processes with CI/CD and enterprise toolingStrong understanding of engineering environments and experience working directly with squads to onboard automation solutions, improve pipelines and identify opportunities to automate across the SDLC Contract Details Initial 6-month contracts with potential for extensionASAP start required (2 week notice max)Hybrid working environment - 2/3 days in office in Sydney, no other locations considered.Must have full working rights in Australia How to Apply You must have full working rights in Australia and reside in Sydney.
