We are seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our Geosciences team in Melbourne. This is an exciting opportunity for an early career professional looking to further develop their technical capability and gain exposure to a diverse range of projects across Australia and globally. Working within a collaborative and highly skilled team, you will contribute to projects across infrastructure, water, renewables, mining and energy sectors. We are proud to work on such diverse projects including infrastructure, water, solar, onshore and offshore wind, mining (open pit and underground), as well as onshore and offshore projects for renewables and hydrocarbons. These diverse projects are delivered in Australia and globally, drawing on our broad technical expertise. The Role As a Geotechnical Engineer, You Will Provide geotechnical engineering support across infrastructure, mining, renewables and energy projects, with a strong focus on safety and quality.Scope, plan and supervise geotechnical site investigations, including borehole drilling, CPTs and test pits.Log soils and rock in accordance with relevant Australian Standards.Prepare technical reports, proposals and engineering recommendations.Support construction activities and site-based investigations as required.Undertake geotechnical analyses using industry-standard software packages.Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes for our customers. What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.Relevant experience in geotechnical engineering, including exposure to site investigations and geotechnical logging.Membership of, or progress towards membership with, a recognised professional institution.Strong report writing, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Experience using geotechnical engineering software packages.Willingness to undertake occasional regional or international travel when required.Current Australian driver's licence.Australian working rights.
