Scope of Responsibilities
People & Performance Management: Lead direct line management, including hiring, firing, policy enforcement, annual reviews, and executing formal Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs).AWS & Infrastructure Architecture: Design, provision, and maintain core AWS services (EC2, ECS, RDS, VPC, Lambda) using Terraform or CloudFormation.Containers & CI/CD Pipelines: Orchestrate containerized environments (Docker, ECS, Portainer, Coolify) and automate deployment pipelines via Bitbucket Pipelines using Bash, Python, or Node.js.AI-Assisted Workflow Integration: Enforce AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) as a core team workflow to accelerate scripting, IaC development, and operational velocity.Security, Monitoring & Systems Admin: Manage IAM, encryption, backups, Linux/Windows server administration, RDS performance tuning, and monitoring with CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana.
Key Requirements
