We’re looking for a Full-Stack Developer with a strong backend focus to join our product and engineering team in Vienna.
You’ll work across our platform, with most of your focus on Java and Spring Boot, while also building and improving features in our Angular web applications.
We use a modern stack - Java 25, Spring Boot 4 and Angular 22 - and continuously evolve our architecture and engineering practices.
Tasks
Design, build, and maintain backend services for our emergency alerting platform
Build APIs, business logic, and data models for reliable, scalable features
Develop user-facing features for our alarm cockpit and admin interface
Build real-time and asynchronous functionality and integrate alert delivery across multiple channels
Write well-tested, production-ready code and improve performance, reliability, and maintainability
Own features end-to-end, collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering
Requirements
Solid experience building production backend systems with Java and Spring Boot
Hands-on experience with Angular and TypeScript
Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases
Experience designing REST APIs and working with API contracts
A strong habit of writing automated unit and integration tests
A pragmatic approach to architecture and improving existing code incrementally
Strong focus on reliability and software quality
Clear communication in English; German is a plus
