The Opportunity You'll join a close-knit engineering team responsible for developing and enhancing a modern cloud-native product built on the Microsoft stack. The platform processes large volumes of business-critical data and integrates with multiple external systems, requiring strong engineering practices and a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance. The company offers a genuinely collaborative environment where developers have a voice, ownership is encouraged, and hierarchies are kept to a minimum. Key Responsibilities Design, develop and maintain backend services using .NET and C#.Build and enhance APIs and integrations with external business systems.Work closely with product, support and engineering colleagues to deliver new features.Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decision-making.Improve system performance, reliability and scalability.Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.Explore and adopt modern development tools and technologies, including AI-assisted development workflows.Collaborate within Agile development teams to deliver high-quality software. Required Experience 5+ years' experience developing applications with .NET / C# (flexible for exceptional candidates).Strong backend development experience.Experience working with Microsoft Azure.Understanding of APIs, integrations and distributed systems.Experience building scalable, cloud-based applications.Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mindset.Comfortable working closely with stakeholders and other technical teams.Norwegian language skills preferred.
