Are you ready to be part of this journey? 🚀 Mission We are seeking a Software Engineer (Python) to join our backend engineering team and help design, build, and scale high-performance software solutions. You will play a key role in shaping the technical direction of our products, contributing to architectural decisions, and mentoring junior developers while remaining hands-on in coding and problem-solving. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure Python applications and APIs.Implement and maintain unit, integration, and performance tests to ensure reliability.Optimize code and systems for performance and scalability.Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Tech Leads, and other engineers to translate business requirements into high-quality technical solutions. Technical Requirements Experience with Python 3.x and one or more major frameworks (Django, FastAPI, Flask).Solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns.Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.Proficiency in relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).Experience with containerization and orchestration.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.).Knowledge of cloud environments (we are using AWS).Strong understanding of version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows.Experience with testing frameworks (PyTest, Unittest) and debugging tools. Nice to Have Experience with async programming (asyncio, Celery).Knowledge of event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).Exposure to DevOps practices and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible). Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.Commitment to code quality, maintainability, and performance.Proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of features and issues. Education & Experience Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).4+ years of professional experience in backend software development with Python.Proven track record of contributing to large-scale production systems.What We Offer Salary range: €40,000 – €50,000 gross per year.Full remote work.Training budget.Good snacks, coffee, and infusions to share with your colleagues when you visit us.
