Description

My client are an Airline business with an international reach across multiple continents. They are currently on a journey to improve both their external customer facing and internally used digital and broader technology capabilities. As such, they are looking for a mid-senior level Backend Developer to join on a contract basis and work alongside their internal digital team. The scope of the work covers their booking, payment and ancillary services; integrations with our passenger service system. The right candidate must be able to be in London to meet with key stakeholders throughout the contract. Airline experience is also highly beneficial Core skills required for this role are: .NET / C#,REST APIs,Azure,SQL Additional knowledge Strong hands-on experience in at least one of .NET, Angular, React, FlutterGit, CI/CD and code review in a team setting (the client use Azure DevOps)Comfortable working in agile teamsFull English proficiency Highly desirable: Navitaire New Skies experience — the REST (NSK) API, booking and payment flows, or Management Console configurationClaude and Claude Cowork — daily use of AI-assisted development and agentic workflows for coding, testing and analysisAirline, travel or e-commerce background: booking funnels, payments, ancillariesA/B testing and feature flags (e.g. GrowthBook), analytics and observability If you are interested in this role, please respond to the advert.
