We are partnered with a large, established financial services organisation currently looking for a Lead Developer with expertise in Java or Kotlin.
With a sizeable in-house engineering function and a significant cloud migration initiative underway, this is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future architecture of a modern enterprise platform landscape.
The legacy code is in COBOL, so any experience with this language is highly preferable.
As a Lead Developer or Architect, you will provide technical leadership across a team of approximately 10-12 engineers, helping drive architectural decisions, modernisation initiatives, and engineering best practices.
This is not a heavily hands-on coding role.
Instead, the focus is on architecture, technical direction, mentoring engineers, and guiding the evolution of large-scale business-critical systems.
Required Experience
