Role: Senior Software Engineer – SDET Location: Minneapolis, MN Duration: 12 Months Contract Work Model: Onsite Mon–Thu | Remote Friday About the Role We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to lead automation and software verification for secure, scalable web and mobile applications in a regulated medical device environment. Key Skills Web & Mobile Application Test AutomationJava, Selenium, KotlinAPI, Microservices & Backend TestingDevice Farm / Mobile AutomationCI/CD & Automated Test Frameworks Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web, mobile, APIs, and microservices.Lead and guide an offshore test automation team and provide technical mentorship.Develop test strategies, verification plans, traceability, and audit-ready documentation.Troubleshoot complex application, service, device, and environment issues.Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and drive continuous quality improvements. Required Qualifications Bachelor's + 6 years or Master's + 4 years relevant experience.Strong hands-on experience with Java and test automation.Experience with Selenium/Appium/Playwright/Cypress or similar tools.Experience testing web/mobile applications, APIs, and distributed systems.Experience in medical device or other regulated/compliance-driven environments preferred.Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
