Description

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager for a contract opportunity within a large-scale global technology environment. The role requires a strong understanding of mobile application release lifecycles across iOS and Android, combined with hands-on knowledge of modern CI/CD and release automation. You will help oversee reliable engineering and release practices within a complex enterprise environment and work closely with technical stakeholders to resolve deployment and release challenges. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience across mobile CI/CD and release automation, Git/GitHub workflows, GitHub Actions and/or CircleCI, Kubernetes and containerised applications, backend deployment pipelines and APIs, together with a strong understanding of branching, tagging, versioning and release strategies. Knowledge of Apple App Store and Google Play release processes is important, as is demonstrable experience troubleshooting pipeline failures and deployment issues. This is a senior assignment requiring someone who can combine engineering credibility with leadership, communication and delivery ownership. Contract: £400/day Location: Burgess Hill – 3 days per week onsite Experience: circa 10 years
