Senior Cyber Security Platform Engineer AI-Powered Penetration Testing Platform Locations: Irving, TX | Tampa, FL | New York, NY Salary: $90,000 - $125,000 We are working with a major global financial institution looking to hire a Senior Cyber Security Platform Engineer to build, integrate, deploy and manage a new AI-powered penetration testing platform. This is a hands-on engineering role sitting at the intersection of Penetration Testing, Offensive Security, Cloud Engineering and Platform Engineering. You will be responsible for enabling and operating a platform used to identify, validate and manage security vulnerabilities across a complex enterprise environment, while integrating the technology into the wider Cyber Security ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Build, certify, integrate, deploy and manage a third-party AI-powered penetration testing platformConfigure and enable the platform to support enterprise penetration testing and vulnerability testing requirementsIntegrate penetration testing findings into SIEM, SOAR, vulnerability management and ticketing platformsEngineer and manage the underlying AWS and/or GCP cloud infrastructureManage hybrid architecture spanning cloud and on-premises environmentsBuild and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as CodeDeploy and manage containerised platform components using Docker and KubernetesDevelop REST APIs, webhooks and event-driven integrationsBuild data pipelines for security findings, vulnerability ingestion and workflow automationSupport platform monitoring, alerting, incident response, patching and capacity managementWork closely with Penetration Testing, Offensive Security, Vulnerability Management, Cloud and Cyber Security teams Key Skills & Experience 7+ years' experience across Security Engineering, Platform Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure or DevSecOpsStrong understanding of penetration testing methodologies, vulnerability management and offensive security operationsExperience engineering, integrating or managing enterprise Cyber Security platformsStrong hands-on AWS and/or GCP experienceTerraform / Infrastructure as CodeKubernetes (EKS/GKE) and DockerCI/CD using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins or similarCloud networking including VPCs, PrivateLink, VPNs, firewalls and IAMExperience working across hybrid cloud and on-premises environmentsStrong API and security tooling integration experienceUnderstanding of network segmentation, security controls and least-privilege principlesExperience with Datadog, CloudWatch, Google Cloud Monitoring or similar Preferred Background We are particularly interested in engineers who have worked within Banking, Financial Services, Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Insurance, FinTech or Payments. Relevant backgrounds could include: Penetration Testing Platform Engineering | Offensive Security Engineering | Cyber Security Platform Engineering | Vulnerability Management | Cloud Security Engineering | Security Automation | DevSecOps Certifications such as OSCP, CISSP, CCSP, AWS Solutions Architect/Security Specialty or Google Cloud Security Engineer would be advantageous but are not essential.
