Responsibilities Code, test, debug, implement, and document programsAssist in the modification of company products and/or customer/internal systems to meet the needs of the client and/or end-userResearch and analyze existing systems and program requirementsDevelop test plans to verify the logic of new or modified programsWork as part of a software development team Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer ScienceAt least 5 years of work experience as a Node.js developerWorking experience with Redis and WebSocketsStrong proficiency in working with database systems such as MongoDB, MySQL, and/or PostgreSQLWorking experience with Node.js web frameworks such as Express.js, Hapi, Socket.IOExperience building RESTful APIsExperience with code coverage, unit testing, and integration testsExperience with version control systems (e.g. Git)Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology and tools such as JIRAExperience with microservices and respective architecture design principles and scalability best practicesExperience in conducting system end-to-end testingExperience in analysis of a node processExperience in creating API design/technical documentation
