Role: SQL Developer Location: Stoke-on-Trent Work Pattern: Hybrid Salary: £40,000-£50,000 A well-established organisation is looking for a SQL Developer to join its growing IT team. The successful SQL Developer will be responsible for: Designing, developing and maintaining database solutions using Microsoft SQL ServerWriting and maintaining T-SQL, including stored procedures, functions and viewsDeveloping and improving database objects to support new functionality and system enhancementsWorking with developers, analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective SQL solutionsSupporting data integration and ETL processesTroubleshooting and resolving SQL and database-related issuesInvestigating and improving query and database performanceCarrying out data validation and testingSupporting business-critical SQL Server databases and associated data platformsAssisting with database maintenance, backups and recovery activitiesMonitoring database performance and identifying opportunities for improvementProducing clear technical documentationContributing to development projects and change requestsSupporting the continued improvement of database processes, standards and solutions Key Requirements: The company is looking for someone with solid commercial SQL development experience who is comfortable working independently while also contributing to a wider development team.
