Senior Python Engineer, Data Platforms

As part of this growth, we are supporting the appointment of a number of Senior Python Engineers to join a highly experienced technology team working on complex, data-intensive systems. The Opportunity This is an opportunity to take significant ownership within a growing engineering function, working on the platforms and services responsible for processing and managing large volumes of data. You'll work within a small, high-autonomy engineering environment where you'll have the freedom to influence technical decisions, improve existing systems and help shape how the platform evolves. Key Responsibilities Design, build and operate production-grade data platforms and servicesDevelop and maintain ETL/data pipelines supporting high-volume workloadsBuild scalable backend services and data-processing applications using PythonContribute to cloud infrastructure, deployment processes, CI/CD and observabilityMaintain high standards around reliability, testing and data qualityTroubleshoot and resolve complex production issuesContribute to technical decision-making, code reviews and engineering best practiceHelp shape technical standards and engineering practices as the team develops About You We're looking for an experienced engineer who is comfortable taking ownership of production systems and working with a high degree of autonomy.
