A leading global investment manager is seeking an experienced C# Software Engineer to join a team responsible for building the technology platforms that underpin risk management, analytics, and decision-making across the business.

What You'll Be Doing
Design, develop and maintain high-performance C#/.NET applications supporting risk and analytics workflows.Build scalable platforms capable of processing and analysing large, complex datasets.Partner with risk, engineering, data and infrastructure teams to deliver business-critical solutions.Drive improvements in performance, stability, observability and scalability across the platform.Champion engineering best practices including automated testing, code reviews and CI/CD.Investigate and resolve complex technical challenges across distributed systems.Contribute to architectural decisions and the long-term evolution of the technology stack.Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
What We're Looking For
4+ years of professional software development experience.Strong commercial expertise with C# and .NET.Experience designing and developing scalable, high-performance backend systems.Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns and engineering best practices.Experience working with large datasets and performance-sensitive applications.Solid knowledge of SQL, T-SQL and relational database design.Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related technical discipline.
Nice to Have
Experience with cloud technologies, particularly AWS.Exposure to Kubernetes and containerised applications.Knowledge of data warehousing technologies, including Snowflake.Experience with performance testing, regression testing and system optimisation.Background in financial markets, investment management, risk technology or related domains.
