This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing underground operation while contributing to the planning, execution and optimisation of mine development and production activities.
Responsibilities
About the Role
As a Mining Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting underground mining operations through mine planning, drill and blast design, scheduling and performance analysis.
Working closely with operational and technical teams, you will help drive safe, efficient and productive mining outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain short and medium-term mine plansPrepare development and production schedulesDesign and review drill and blast plansMonitor mining performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvementEnsure mining activities are conducted in accordance with the mine plan and budget requirementsConduct ventilation, productivity and operational assessments as requiredLiaise closely with underground supervisors, surveyors, geologists and management teamsAssist with budgeting, forecasting and reporting activitiesMaintain compliance with site safety standards, statutory requirements and company proceduresContribute to operational improvement initiatives and technical projects

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have
