Ruby Engineer Manchester & Hybrid Remote We’re working with a fast-growing SaaS technology business that is transforming the warehouse management industry through innovative cloud-based software. They’re looking for a Ruby Engineer to join their collaborative engineering team and help build, improve and maintain their core SaaS platform. What you’ll be doing Developing and enhancing features using Ruby / Ruby on RailsWriting clean, maintainable and well-tested codeWorking closely with Developers, QA and Product teams in an agile environmentContributing to code reviews, bug fixes and system improvementsWorking with APIs, databases and cloud technologiesSupporting CI/CD, deployments and application performance What we’re looking for Commercial experience with RubySome experience with Ruby on RailsExperience with PostgreSQL and/or MongoDBFamiliarity with RSpec, Git and APIsExposure to AWS, Docker and CI/CDUnderstanding of Agile/Scrum and secure coding practicesStrong communication and problem-solving skills This is a great opportunity to join a growing technology business where you’ll have genuine input into the product and plenty of opportunity to develop your skills.
