About The Role The Scoping and Development Officer coordinates the development and pre-construction planning activities for road, bridge and active transport infrastructure improvement projects across the DTP road network. They work with senior engineers and external consultants to develop practical, safe and cost-effective road infrastructure improvement projects that meet DTP standards. The role supports development and pre-construction planning by making sure projects are well scoped, achievable and clearly documented. They work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and incorporate them into the project treatment. Success means projects are well planned and developed, ready for delivery, while supporting a collaborative, safe and inclusive team environment. (desirable)License (without any restriction which preclude the incumbent from performing the inherent requirements of the position and which cannot be reasonably accommodated by the Department).
