Salary: GR 9/10 $133,348 to $146,945 plus superannuation and annual leave loading
Your role
Homes NSW is seeking experienced and motivated Development Manager’s to support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of residential developments, ranging from medium-density projects through to large-scale urban renewal initiatives.
You will manage projects across the full project lifecycle, including planning, procurement, governance, stakeholder engagement, risk management and project delivery.
The Purpose Of The Role Is To Support The Delivery Of a Range Of Residential Projects, From Medium Density To Large Scale Urban Renewal Projects, Including Financial And Economic Justification, Planning, Procurement, Development, Project Management And Financial Control Of Projects Within The Below 4 Areas Of The Portfolio Development Team:

What you’ll do
Manage a range of residential projects through the project lifecycle from inception to completion, ensuring effective planning, stakeholder management, and operative financial and risk management processes Deliver project outcomes to ensure all projects are scoped, planned, costed, resourced and aligned with program objectives and client needs.
Provide preliminary advice to the Senior Development Manager, Director, Development and the Executive Director, Portfolio Development, implementation, management and reporting of projects.
Manage governance arrangements to ensure cost, time and quality of planning and approvals.
Managing and maintaining oversight of project progress, risks, benefits and priorities to position Homes NSW to deliver optimal initiative and program outcomes, within policy and compliance parameters.
Ensuring all projects meet milestones, achieve objectives, are managed within budget given the high-volume work environment and demands resulting from tight timeframes and competing priorities
What we’re looking for
We Are Seeking Proactive And Collaborative Project Professionals With Experience Delivering Complex Property, Development, Construction Or Infrastructure Projects.
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Demonstrate:
Tertiary qualifications in construction management, property development or a relevant business discipline.
Sound knowledge and understanding of the machinery of government, the policy process and the relevant statutory requirements that underpin Homes NSW’s operations.
Knowledge and understanding of private sector property and construction and development processes Intermediate project management skills and experience Capacity of building commitment and engaging with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects include widespread consultation.
A current valid NSW Drivers Licence as the role may involve travel both locally and regionally, including overnight travel, as required by the business and/or directed.
