Our client, a leading financial technology company supporting a federal payments program, is seeking an Azure Platform Engineer to join their cloud engineering team. As an Azure Platform Engineer, you will be part of a growing organization building out a new Azure environment, not maintaining legacy systems. The ideal candidate will have strong ownership, clear communication, and a calm approach to production incidents, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Azure Platform Engineer Location: Remote (US) Type: contract to hire, W2 What you'll do: Build and maintain Azure landing zones and platform services. Write Terraform modules and CI/CD pipelines. Implement observability and security guardrails. Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation, leading triage and root cause analysis. What you bring: 5 to 7 years supporting Azure in production. Hands-on Terraform authoring. Azure networking and security (VNet, Private Endpoints, Key Vault, RBAC, Entra ID).
