Your responsibilities
You will support the team in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines according to client business needs and embedding them end-to-end into the given data stackOn this role, you will assist in maintaining and optimizing data infrastructure required for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) from a wide variety of data sourcesAs a junior Data Engineer, you will build, test, and deploy data artifacts on cloud platforms using modern version control best practicesYou will collaborate with senior engineers to ensure data accuracy, integrity, privacy, security, and compliance by applying data quality assurance methodsMonitoring data pipeline performance and assisting in identifying opportunities for pipeline optimizationIn this role, you will work closely together with both reeeliance and client staff as part of an agile project team
Our requirements
Solid foundational knowledge of data modeling concepts and modern data warehousing architecturesProficiency in Python and strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating complex datasetsHands-on experience with Git for version control and collaborative developmentPractical exposure to or understanding of working within cloud environments (such as Azure or AWS)Eagerness to learn new ETL/ELT tools, cloud technologies, and software engineering practicesFoundational understanding of a typical GenAI stack (LLMs, Vector Databases, frameworks like LangChain)Strong problem-solving attitude and an enthusiastic, proactive approach to learningAbility to work both independently on delegated tasks and collaboratively within agile project teamsA university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience)Articulate with impeccable verbal and written communication skills in German (C1 level) and English (B2 level).
