Job Description AECOM’s Water Business Line is seeking a dynamic, talented Senior Infrastructure Project Manager for immediate employment to be based out of our Virginia Beach, VA office. Candidate will manage, plan and lead projects supporting complex water/wastewater treatment plant upgrades and associated infrastructure. The appropriate qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in delivering complex infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be expected to communicate effectively with project team members and across multiple organizations, have a high level of initiative and motivation to deliver quality results, have strong problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to provide value-added solutions and maintain strong relationships in a collaborative delivery environment acting as the Owner’s Advisor. The job responsibilities of the position will include but are not limited to: Responsible for the overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies. Provides management and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface. Oversees and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors. Responsible for administering the project from budgeting/schedule stage through procurement and contract closeout. Position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned project. Qualifications MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: BA/BS in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Environmental Engineering + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education Demonstrated knowledge of water and wastewater treatment, pumping stations, collection and distribution systems and client/consultant relations experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Masters Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Environmental Engineering 9+ years of relevant experience as a Project Manager within an engineering consulting firm Registered Professional Engineer (PE) Ability to proactively lead technical efforts and project team staff Strong communication skills and experience working directly with clients Experience on large scale projects Additional Information Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
