Mechanical Engineering Intern

Position Title: Mechanical Engineering Intern Start Date: Spring Position Summary: We are looking for a mechanical engineering intern to support product development. As a Mechanical Engineering Intern at V and IPS Broomfield, you will partner with the Engineering Team to support Engineering activities. In this role, you will report to the Sr Manager, Product Development. Responsibilities: Supporting the Engineering Team with Designs and analyzes mechanical systems, equipment and packaging. Help to Conduct feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs Support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing and prototype fabrication Required Qualifications: Enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program in Mechanical Engineering 3D CAD experience (SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor) Hands-on skills in a laboratory environment Comfortable with mechanical and electrical hardware Excellent verbal and written communication skills Position Highlights: 6-month co-op assignment within a functional area of the company a comprehensive and engaging experience from before your program starts to after the program ends.
