Description
We are looking for a Senior Embedded C/C++ Engineer to join our team in Cracow.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing real-time operating systems for embedded controllers, focusing on Texas Instruments DSP and ARM processors.
You will collaborate closely with control, hardware, systems, and test engineers to ensure seamless integration of firmware with various components.

Your tasks
Designing and developing real-time operating systems for embedded controllers, including multi-controller synchronizationImplementing bootloader functionality to ensure reliable firmware execution with integrity checking and safe startup behaviorDeveloping a parameter manager that supports parameter creation, deletion, naming, data typing, derived parameters, default values, non-volatile storage, and change loggingCreating firmware update manager functions for main and cell controllers, including compatibility checks, failure notifications, and rollback behaviorContributing to the evaluation and implementation of file transfer mechanisms for firmware updates, including EtherCAT-based approachesDeveloping transient fault recorder functionality to capture variables before, during, and after fault events, including trigger conditions and sampling strategiesImplementing time-aware logging for fault records, considering communication bandwidth and synchronization constraintsDeveloping real-time firmware in C or C++ for microcontrollers and digital signal processors used in power electronic equipmentPerforming debugging, verification, and validation using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzersPreparing clear technical documentation, including software requirements, architecture, interface descriptions, and test proceduresContributing to code reviews, configuration management, and software quality practices
Requirements
