About The Role We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Softwareentwickler (m/w/d) to join our dynamic IT team at ScanHaus Marlow. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing, maintaining, and enhancing our proprietary software solutions. Our digital landscape is built on open-source technologies and Python, enabling us to customize and optimize our business processes, interfaces, and internal applications. You will work closely with various departments to understand their needs, translate requirements into technical solutions, and contribute to our strategic goal of increasing technological independence through open-source initiatives. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a passion for programming, problem-solving skills, and a desire to develop comprehensive software solutions beyond routine ticket handling. Relevant qualifications include a degree in Informatics, Business Informatics, or a comparable education such as a Fachinformatiker for Application Development. Practical experience in software development, especially with Python, is essential. Familiarity with Odoo/OpenERP is highly advantageous, along with knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and relational databases like PostgreSQL. Additionally, experience with REST APIs, Git, Docker, Linux, and open-source technologies will be beneficial. The candidate should possess a structured, independent working style, enthusiasm for understanding and evolving existing systems, strong communication skills, and proficiency in German and English. Responsibilities Further development and customization of the Odoo platform, including creating new modules and applications tailored to business needs.Design and implementation of employee-facing applications for communication, time tracking, and digital services.Development of APIs and interfaces to connect various systems and facilitate seamless data exchange.Digitization and automation of core business processes to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort.Technical planning and collaboration with internal departments to ensure solutions meet operational requirements.Continuous enhancement of our in-house software and open-source ecosystem, aligning with evolving business strategies.Participation in diverse in-house projects, providing innovative solutions with a focus on usability and performance.Contributing to the long-term goal of increasing technological independence through open-source technologies.Engaging in code reviews, testing, and documentation to maintain high-quality standards.
