About The Role Peak is a mature underground gold mine with a long operating history, which means the engineering challenges are real, varied and highly influential. As our Mining Engineer responsible for the Mid-Term Planning, you'll be developing mine designs and schedules that balance production requirements with practical underground constraints. You'll work closely with operations, geology, maintenance and ventilation teams to determine how and when the orebody is extracted, ensuring plans are achievable, safe and aligned with business objectives. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys understanding the bigger picture, working collaboratively across disciplines and seeing their planning work translated into operational outcomes underground. Roster: 8/6, 12 hours per day (Dayshift only)Location: Peak Mine, Cobar NSW Travel options Residents enjoy a balanced roster and the opportunity to settle into the family-friendly township of Cobar.
