About The Role We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Softwareentwickler (m/w/d) to join our IT team in Marlow. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining our in-house software solutions, primarily based on Python and open-source technologies. Your main responsibility will be to enhance our digital enterprise environment by creating custom modules, developing APIs, and automating business processes to improve operational efficiency. You will work closely with various departments to understand their needs and translate them into effective software solutions that directly impact and improve the daily work of our employees. Qualifications The ideal candidate should have a passion for programming and a solution-oriented mindset. Relevant educational background includes a degree in Informatics, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification such as a Fachinformatiker for Application Development. Practical experience in software development is essential, with strong proficiency in Python. Experience with Odoo/OpenERP is highly advantageous, along with knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and relational databases like PostgreSQL. Familiarity with REST APIs, Git, Docker, Linux, and open-source technologies is also important. The ability to work independently and systematically, coupled with good communication skills in German and English, will contribute to success in this role. Additional experience in Odoo module development, CI/CD processes, system integration, or Kubernetes will be considered a plus. Responsibilities Develop and extend our Odoo platform, including custom modules and applications tailored to business needs.Create and maintain our employee app for communication, time tracking, and digital services.Design and implement APIs and interfaces to connect various internal and external systems.Digitize and automate core business processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.Collaborate with Fachabteilungen (specialist departments) to develop technical concepts and ensure seamless implementation.Contribute to the ongoing development of our in-house software and open-source landscape, ensuring the solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with company goals.Participate in in-house projects that require innovative solutions, offering creative input and technical expertise.Maintain high code quality, perform testing, and ensure proper documentation of developed solutions.
