Responsibilities
Design, build, test, and deploy production-ready backend servicesDevelop and support API platform capabilities, including REST and GraphQL servicesCreate solutions for large-scale data processing, batch workflows, and large file handlingBuild event-driven applications using KafkaImplement and improve caching solutions to enhance performance and scalabilityPartner with product, infrastructure, security, and engineering teams to deliver solutions in an Agile settingSupport platform reliability, maintainability, and ongoing enhancements in a production environment
Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin and MicronautExperience with Kotlin and Java, including Spring BootProven background building and supporting APIs and GraphQL servicesPractical experience with Kafka and PostgreSQLProduction experience with large-scale data, file, and batch processingExperience implementing caching strategies in production systemsStrong automated testing practices and Agile development experienceComfort using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot
