About the team: The International DE Search Browse team plays a central role in enhancing the shopping experience by enabling customers to find relevant products efficiently across Walmart’s global eCommerce platforms. This team develops scalable, intelligent, and customer-focused features spanning search, browse, relevance, and personalization. Operating in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, the team emphasizes innovation, quality, and data-driven decision-making. What you'll do: Deliver platform capabilities including infrastructure, tooling, and ML frameworks aligned with roadmap milestones and domain priorities. Drive full software development lifecycle activities such as coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance. Apply cloud-native architecture principles to ensure scalable, resilient, and agile systems. Lead system design reviews to validate quality and alignment with architectural standards. Build AI-driven applications and integrate ML components using multiple programming languages. Mentor engineers, influence technical decisions, and promote engineering excellence through continuous improvement. Collaborate across teams to define technical requirements and track success metrics using data-driven practices. Strong proficiency in software design patterns, API design, and software prototyping to deliver maintainable and modular solutions.
