Compensation: $30-40/hour Required Skills & Experience - 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance, software testing, systems testing, or a closely related technical role. - Hands-on experience testing both software and physical hardware/equipment - Strong manual testing experience, including executing test cases/test plans and documenting test results and defects. - Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills with the ability to reproduce issues, validate fixes, isolate problems, and communicate findings to software developers. - Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field Job Description Our client, a global manufacturer of industrial technology and automated equipment, is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer I to support the testing and validation of software used to control robotic and electromechanical systems. This is a highly hands-on QA role combining software and hardware testing, with approximately 75% of the work performed directly on physical equipment. This individual will execute manual tests, troubleshoot software and hardware issues, validate developer fixes and new functionality, document results, and provide clear feedback to the development team.
