What are your contributions to the team? Reporting to the Section Chief, Interior Finishing Engineering, the intern will contribute to design, production support, and continuous improvement activities for Bombardier's Paint & Placards systems. The mandate will focus on supporting the team in harmonizing practices across platforms, optimizing engineering processes, and maintaining technical product definition. Participate in the design and modification of Paint & Placards components using CATIA and product lifecycle management tools. Support the preparation and maintenance of technical documentation, engineering drawings, and bills of materials (BOMs). Collaborate with manufacturing, integration, methods, and certification teams to resolve technical issues. Perform comparative analyses across different aircraft platforms to identify opportunities for standardization and process improvement. Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives. Support technical project activities and coordinate actions across multiple stakeholders. Develop tools, metrics, and dashboards to improve team efficiency and performance. Document and share best practices to promote harmonization of work methods across programs. How to thrive in this role? As our ideal candidate, You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. You have a strong interest in design, systems integration, and manufacturing environments. You have knowledge of CATIA V5 or other 3D modeling software. You demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You are recognized for your rigor, autonomy, and proactive mindset. You enjoy teamwork and collaboration within a multidisciplinary environment. You possess strong verbal and written communication skills in both French and English. Knowledge of Excel, Power BI, or data analysis tools is considered an asset.
