What are your contributions to the team? During your internship, you will contribute to: Help develop and validate various software tools developed with the Advanced Design departmentDevelop conceptual design tool Participate in the Multidisciplinary Optimization tools development Benchmark disciplinary environment with state-of-the-art researchParticipate in feasibility and trade studies of new aircraft design software During your internship, you will learn: The importance of multidisciplinary design optimization tools in the design of new productsTo use different programming languages and development environmentsHow to participate in the early phases of the development of new aircraft conceptsTo work as a cohesive team with experts from different technical disciplines How to thrive in this role? What we are looking for: You are currently enrolled in a university level aerospace engineering program or equivalent (e.g. mechanical engineering, computer engineering, computer sciences, etc.)You have completed at least two years of the programYou show a keen interest in aerospace in general and aircraft design in particularYou show a keen interest for software development, with a good knowledge of the Python programming language. Familiarity with dash is an asset;You are familiar with other programming languages (C/C++, Matlab, Fortran)You are motivated, curious and independentYou are familiar and comfortable with Microsoft Office Boarding Information: Location: BANDuration: 8 monthsFlexible workplace-Hybrid It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
