As we continue to expand our direct-to-consumer and digital channels, we're looking for an experienced and commercially driven Senior Digital & eCommerce Manager to join us at an exciting stage of our growth. About the Role This is a pivotal role with genuine ownership, real influence and a direct impact on the commercial success of our brands online. Reporting to the Head of Marketing & eCommerce, you'll lead Melrose's digital marketing and eCommerce function, turning commercial and brand objectives into high-performing digital strategies across a diverse portfolio of brands. You'll oversee all aspects of the customer journey, from acquisition and conversion through to loyalty and retention, ensuring every touchpoint delivers a best-in-class experience. Working hand in hand with internal stakeholders and agency partners, you'll drive and accelerate results across our digital channels. You'll also lead and develop a talented digital team, building their capability and fostering a culture of performance. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute Melrose's digital marketing and eCommerce strategy to drive revenue growth, profitability and customer acquisition.Own and optimise the performance of Melrose's websites, focusing on conversion, customer experience and online sales growth.Manage performance marketing channels including SEM, SEO, social media, affiliates and paid digital campaigns.Drive CRM, loyalty and email marketing strategies to increase customer retention, engagement and lifetime value.Monitor and analyse digital, eCommerce and trading performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve results.Manage agency and technology partners to ensure effective campaign delivery and platform performance.Lead, coach and develop a high-performing Digital & eCommerce team.Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure digital initiatives support broader brand and commercial objectives. About You You are a commercially savvy digital leader who thrives on delivering measurable business outcomes through data-driven decision making and exceptional customer experiences. You will bring: 5+ years' experience leading digital marketing, eCommerce or online trading functions, preferably within FMCG, health, retail or consumer goods.Demonstrated success driving online revenue growth, customer acquisition and retention.Strong understanding of performance marketing, SEO, CRM, email marketing and customer lifecycle management.Advanced experience with digital platforms including Shopify, CMS platforms, CRM and marketing automation tools (Klaviyo highly regarded).Strong analytical capability with expertise in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and digital reporting platforms.Experience managing external agencies and cross-functional stakeholder relationships.Proven ability to balance commercial outcomes with brand objectives.Outstanding communication, leadership and project management skills.A proactive, hands-on approach and passion for continuous improvement.
