Our work sits at the intersection of healthcare-adjacent compliance, real-world operations, and systems that must be reliable, secure, and auditable. We are a strong operational footprint and are building internal platforms and automations to support scale, compliance, and long-term stability. This will be our second engineering hire and the role comes with meaningful technical ownership. Job Role: We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to help design, build, and evolve internal systems that support core business operations. This role is hands-on and requires comfort operating in environments where steps must be made thoughtfully. You will work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders, help define system architecture, and take ownership of end-to-end solutions. This will be an onsite role in the West Covina area. Responsibilities: Design and implement full-stack systemsOwn architecture decisions and system design across services and workflowsBuild back-end services, APIs, and integrations with third-party platformsDevelop and maintain front-end interfaces for internal toolsMake pragmatic tradeoffs between speed, technical debt, and long-term maintainabilityImprove system reliability and security.Participate in technical planning and help shape engineering standardsCollaborate directly with leadership and operations teamsRequired Qualifications 2+ years building production full-stack applicationsStrong TypeScript/JavaScript skills (React, Node.js ecosystem)Experience designing systems and APIs, not just implementing ticketsSolid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)Comfort working with ambiguity and evolving requirements Ability to debug across the stack — front-end, back-end, database, third-party APIsClear communication and ownership mindsetPreferred / Nice to Have Qualifications: Authorization to work in the USExperience with Next.js or similar React frameworks Third-party API integration experience (webhooks, OAuth, rate limiting)Security-minded — experience securing web applications, preventing common attack vectors, and thinking about what could go wrong before it does DevOps experience (CI/CD, Docker, infrastructure-as-code)Experience in regulated or compliance-heavy environments (healthcare, finance, government)Experience working in small teams or early-stage environmentsPractical engineering judgmentAccountability and ownershipClear, direct communicationWillingness to improve imperfect systems rather than rebuild everything from scratchCompensation General Pay Range: $60-100k Annual*Note: Specific Salary Range and Benefits are details that can be discussed during the interview process to better assess level of experience.How to Apply Please send your resume highlighting your relevant experiences in addition to any types of systems you've owned or designed.
