Responsibilities Kforce has a client in Irvine, CA that is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer for an onsite role - must work with PST hours. Summary: We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support the reliability, scalability, and performance of a cloud-native platform. This role will partner with engineering teams to build and maintain resilient infrastructure, automate deployments, improve observability, and ensure high availability of critical applications. Responsibilities: Design and support cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Helm, and CloudFormation Manage Kubernetes environments, including multi-cluster deployments and Istio Build and maintain CI/CD and GitOps pipelines using tools such as ArgoCD and Bitbucket Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry Drive automation, self-healing capabilities, disaster recovery planning, and operational excellence Enforce cloud security, compliance, and platform reliability standards Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis Requirements 6+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP Strong Kubernetes administration experience in production environments Experience with Terraform, Helm, CloudFormation, or other IaC tools Experience with CI/CD, GitOps, and deployment automation Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability best practices Proficiency in Python, Go, Bash, or similar scripting languages Experience supporting on-call rotations and incident management Preferred Multi-cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) Istio, Kafka, Amazon MSK, Flink, or Debezium experience Experience with HIPAA, SOC 2, or ISO 27001 environments Exposure to MLOps, AI/GenAI infrastructure, MLflow, or Kubeflow Experience with cloud security, IAM, RBAC, secrets management, and cost optimization Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and collaborate across multiple engineering teams. The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
