Job Summary As part of our growing Technology team, we’re seeking a mid-to-senior level Software Engineer (AI Platform Engineer) to take ownership of our custom user app platform. This year, Flywheel developed a custom solution enabling non-technical teammates to leverage AI and make powerful webapps to solve real business use cases. You would take over ownership of this platform and be responsible for maintaining and expanding its capabilities to keep pace with growing excitement and adoption. We will only be considering Oklahoma candidates for this role. Relocation or fully remote is not available. Key Responsibilities Plan and execute feature expansion roadmapOwn and manage platform architecture (database, portal integration, external data sources)Leverage AI (responsibly) to speed up development where it makes sense. Give demonstrations and training to other departmentsEvangelize the platform to new and existing users Create and explain changelogs to key power users and stakeholders.Identify key platform applications and navigate moving them into central software team support. Sometimes travel to our remote offices and work with basin teams to teach them about the platform (less than 5% travel).Own your own quality assurance; fix your mistakes when you ship them.
