Description

Role: AWS Senior Software Engineer Client Location: Burbank, California Onsite: 4 days onsite/week 12 months then either extension or perm Agreement: W2 only (No C2C, no third party) USC or GC only Must have: AWS serverless architecture, typescript, and AWS Job Description: The Senior Software Engineer will work across multiple engineering initiatives supporting shared services platforms. This individual will collaborate with a team of approximately 10 engineers, attend daily standups, and serve as the primary engineer supporting several inherited projects. Success in the role requires operating independently, making sound technical decisions, and maintaining high standards for code quality and engineering best practices. Must-Have Qualifications • Extensive hands-on experience with AWS cloud technologies. • Deep expertise in AWS serverless architecture and services. • Strong TypeScript development experience. • Ability to independently manage and deliver work with limited guidance. • Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and code quality standards. • Knowledge of AWS security, networking, permissions, and infrastructure considerations. • Ability to evaluate and recommend emerging AWS technologies and solutions. Preferred Qualifications • Experience supporting multiple projects simultaneously. • Background working within shared services or platform engineering environments. • Ability to provide technical guidance and informed opinions on architecture and coding approaches. • Familiarity with modern AWS service offerings and cloud-native design patterns. Day-to-Day Responsibilities • Participate in daily standups and collaborate with engineering teams. • Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based applications and services. • Support and enhance existing AWS serverless solutions. • Drive development efforts across multiple projects and stakeholders. • Ensure adherence to coding standards, security requirements, and engineering best practices. • Research, evaluate, and implement appropriate AWS technologies and solutions.
