Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Control Systems Service Engineer to join their team based in Western Sydney. This position will primarily focus on monitoring, troubleshooting and technical support of client automation systems, with site visits required when issues cannot be resolved remotely. This opportunity will suit engineers who enjoy solving technical problems, supporting live operational systems and working closely with clients to ensure automation platforms remain reliable and efficient. The Position As a Control Systems Service Engineer, you will support the ongoing operation and reliability of industrial control systems across a range of client sites. Responsibilities Monitoring, maintaining and troubleshooting PLC and SCADA systems remotelyDiagnosing and resolving control system faults and operational issuesSupporting the optimisation and reliability of automation platformsProviding technical support and advice to clientsEscalating complex issues and collaborating with internal engineering teamsAttending client sites when faults cannot be resolved remotelySupporting minor upgrades, configuration changes and system improvements Your Experience To be considered for this position, you will have experience working within industrial automation, system integrators or service engineering environments. You may currently be working for a systems integrator, OEM automation provider or end user supporting control systems in operational environments. You Will Also Possess A degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering or similarStrong competence with PLC and SCADA technologiesExperience troubleshooting industrial control systems in live environmentsExposure to platforms such as Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Ignition or similarStrong diagnostic and problem-solving capabilitiesExcellent communication skills and the ability to support clients effectively What’s On Offer Salary package $90K – $130K + Super depending on experienceOffice-based role supporting automation systems across multiple industriesOpportunity to develop strong control systems troubleshooting expertiseWork with experienced engineers supporting critical automation platforms Our client has requested that only candidates who already have possession of full work rights to work in Australia will be considered as sponsorship is not available.
