About The Role We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Front-End Developer to join our dynamic team at BNY. Working closely with cross-functional teams—including designers, product managers, and fellow developers—you will translate design principles into robust technical solutions. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess over 8 years of experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on design system creation and management. You should demonstrate expert-level proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, along with deep expertise in modern front-end frameworks such as Angular and React. A solid understanding of CSS, including pre-processors, advanced styling techniques, CSS variables, and color systems, is essential. Experience with Web Components and their application in large-scale systems is highly desirable. Additionally, you should have a proven track record of scaling design systems, managing complex theming architectures, and ensuring seamless production deployments. Strong knowledge of version management, dependency management, and package versioning is crucial. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams are also required. Candidates with experience in the financial services or FinTech industries, contributions to open-source projects, and a keen eye for design aesthetics will have an added advantage.
