Role - Java Developer with Hadoop Location – Charlotte, NC (Local & F2F Interview) FTE Salary - $120k/Annum Job Description Must Have Technical/Functional Skills Primary Skill: Spring boot, Core java, Hadoop, pyspark, Hive Secondary: Kafka We are seeking a Java Developer with strong expertise in Java 10+ and modern backend application development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building scalable microservices, REST APIs, and cloud-native applications. Exposure to Hadoop ecosystem technologies is required to support data-intensive applications and integrations, though this is not a core Hadoop development role. Must Have Skills • Java 10+/11+/17+ • Spring Boot • Microservices Architecture • RESTful Web Services • Kafka • OpenShift / Kubernetes • Oracle SQL / PL-SQL • JUnit, Mockito • Git, Maven, CI/CD • Basic to Intermediate Hadoop ecosystem experience Roles & Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot. • Develop scalable Microservices and REST APIs. • Integrate applications with distributed data platforms and messaging systems. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. • Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support. • Optimize application performance and scalability. • Work in Agile/Scrum development environments. • Support data processing and integration workflows involving Hadoop-based platforms.
